Documenting

These last two weeks have been full of little side projects and homework. One project in particular that I am especially proud of is called Freedom Avenue.

A couple of weeks ago, my friends Travis and Ryan approached me with an idea for a Youtube channel. They found that they have quite a bit of free time lately and thought it would be fun to start recording their conversations. I immediately encouraged them to start it! They are two of the goofiest guys I know and I would definitely subscribe to their channel.

A little while later, I followed up with them about the idea and they said that they had not started it yet and weren’t really sure where to begin. So, they invited me to help them get it off the ground! Over the next week there were a flurry of text conversations about logistics and possibilities and, after a production meeting or two, we started to record a podcast, to start, called Bacon Bits! (BYU has a free studio for students in the library 😬)

Travis and Ryan have been recording some videos on their own for the Youtube Channel already, I’m just helping to produce more content like the podcast and to get Freedom Ave set up socially.

Check it out on Instagram: @freedom_avenue and stay tuned for more excited news and content to come!

Lately, I have also been making more of an effort to document the small moments that are very easy to forget in the long run. This was inspired by a date that I went on a couple of weeks ago. She did a great job of taking short videos and pictures and adding to those moments rather than taking away from them.

Conveniently, my photography professor this week assigned us to document a day in our life through pictures. These pictures have to be well done but they also have to show how we see an average day. I’ll be documenting that assignment on my instagram @cupofcrushedice on Tuesday so follow along!

Guys, thank you so much for following along, liking, and commenting! I am grateful for each and every one of you.

Peace,

-Mitch
