Have you ever gotten to the point of ridiculousness after not getting adequate sleep? This has only happened a couple of times in my life but fortunately it wasn’t that bad this week.
I usually wear my Fitbit to bed to see what kind of sleep I am getting. I have noticed that over the last couple weeks, my average sleep time has gone from almost 8 down to barely 5. Hopefully, this trend doesn’t continue 🙏🏽.
On Wednesday this week we had a company barbecue! I am still getting to know my team but this was a really fun opportunity to associate with them and get to know them a little better.
Part of the barbecue was a hot dog eating contest. I, personally, decided that pounding down as many hot dogs as possible would not do very good things for my body but I had the opportunity to count for a coworker. In the beginning, he was very admant that he would win the entire contest but that quickly faded after the first 3 minutes of the contest. It was funny to watch as people tried various techniques like dipping the bun in water and eating the dog separately from the bun. Fortunately, no one threw up but Peter, the coworker I was counting for, got really close after barely eating his fourth hot dog. Therefore, he finished at four, deciding that the $50 Amazon was not worth the risk because if you threw up you had to start over again. All in all, it was a blast. Everyone got into it and, even if they were not participating, hyped up the contest.
Also this week, Porter and I almost went down to Angels Landing (on my photography bucket list) but for some reason, it decided to rain down there and I changed my plan to drive up early to Sqaw Peak and Bridal Veil Falls. I took a ton of pictures but the ones below are my favorites 😎. Check them out and let me know what you think!
It was GORGEOUS. I love the fall colors and tried to edit these photos in such a way as to show you, the reader, the majesty of what I witnessed on Saturday morning.
Also on Saturday night, Em made the most amazing hot chocolate. ☕️ It was so simple but very rich and sweet. #chocolatelyblessed
Leave me a message below to let me know how I’m doing with my photography skillz. Love you guys – Mitch
